Cashing in enough trains to level more than once apparently only gives
one level.  

Probably because when you level the code resets the exp to the amount
that it costs for the next level, i'll take a look at the code and change it
so it works as you thought it would...  

It gives only 1 immediate level yes.  However, it will give you the rest
of the xp toward your next level.  If that xp is enough for another level
you're xp will show as somethng like the following: You need -46275196 exp
to BBBlevel (1177).  Gold: 166 Trains: 4 Addict: 540 These are the full log
of my test for any interested.  Cashin exp 500 -= You receive 125000000
experience points =- You gain a level!  You gain 10000 health, 10000 mana,
and 10000 movement!  Your stats have increased by 2 points.  You have gained
2 trains!  You cash in your trains for some experience.  You need -50561500
exp to level (1322).  Gold: 0 Trains: 2 Addict: 540 A sewer rat is DEAD!! 
-= You receive 7196 experience points =- You gain a level!  You gain 10000
health, 10000 mana, and 10000 movement!  Your stats have increased by 2
points.  You have gained 2 trains!  You need -46275196 exp to BBBlevel
